i think this video made it very clear that entry is by far the hardest role in valorant and every team needs at least 2. SEN have tenz and zekken, EG had demon1 jawgemo and boostio, PRX have jinggg something and forsaken, GENG have texture and meteor (who plays yoru, cypher, kj but hes a bit of a maniac especially on kj), even optic had victor and yay, its nit necessarily having good mechanics or playing the duelist agent but just players who have immense balls and have the confidence to take more risks. There have only been 2 successful teams with a true solo entry fnatic and loud. Derke is inarguably fnatics solo entrh but alfajer is also a player on that team with immense balls and was willing to take risks and early fights often. Also this year theyve been running more double duelist with alfa. so in truth loud is the only team with a true solo entry, and it pretty much convinced me that aspas is the best player in the world.

If you asked sen fans, theyd still say tenz despite his absense from the pro scene.

i feel like chet somewhat wanted to gamble demon1,as in,he made him to play a role with a really high ceiling even tho it was a really high risk. Demon1s role in eg wasnt complicated,i have the impression that most people who actually watched 2023 vct knew demon1 wasnt a hard entry,he had passive aim and required a specific system...Like i dont remember him dashing into site and enjoying that chaos like jawgemo did,it was easy to tell bro has a low sens and it was easy to tell bro had it easy with the eg system.
